ECOSYSTEX Insights Series #12

On 31 January 2025, for the 12th edition of our ECOSYSTEX Insights Series dissemination webinar, we welcomed four ECOSYSTEX member projects, including one concluding soon and one that recently started

The session featured a presentation from Traci Kinden from TEXroad who presented PESCO-UP and their proposed minimum data requirements for the textile recycling value chain. Then Jennet Orayeva, MBA from RTDS Group talked about the CELLFIL project introducing their foreseen work on cellulose lyocell filaments as a scalable solution for circular textile production. After Mariangela Lavanga & Younghyun (Young) Kim from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam shared how Fabrix want to foster local, beautiful, and sustainably designed regenerative textile & clothing ecosystems and announced two open calls for T&C industry facilitators.

Finally, Marta Casadesús from Tèxtils.CAT discussed about the CIRTECHTEX project and their learnings from implementing circular economy processes to reduce textile waste in the manufacture of personal protective equipment.
