On 13 September 2024, for the 10th edition of the ECOSYSTEX Insights Series dissemination webinar, we welcomed four ECOSYSTEX member projects and explored a wide range of textile sustainability & circularity research topics.

Åsa Degerman from Södra presented LIFE TREATS's plan to recycling textile in Europe, and Bruno Marengo from Fairbrics showed how THREADING-CO2 valorises CO2 waste streams into polyester textile products. We will also heard from VTTs' Pirjo Heikkilä who detailed tExtended's framework for extended textile circulation. Lastly, Nikola Matović from Technische Universität Berlin discussed the sustainable bio-based systems that STAR4BBS is working on using effective certification and labelling.
